The European Diamond Capacity Hub takes its place alongside other regional Capacity Hubs such as Redalyc-Amelica and African Journals Online (AJOL), and thus provides a gateway to the global Diamond Open Access community. It is responsive to the equitable publishing needs of the scholarly community.
There are three levels of governance:
The Assembly consists of Community Members: representatives of Diamond Capacity Centers, Publishers, Service Providers, and Tools & Technology Providers that join the European Diamond Capacity Hub. Community Members can participate in various Task Forces.
The Steering Committee is composed of public and not for profit organisations (e.g. charities, foundations, associations, RFOs, RPOs) that financially contribute to the European Diamond Capacity Hub.
The Executive Committee oversees its daily operations. National and international organisations involved in various aspects of Diamond OA publishing — are part of this commitee and contribute in kind by leading key EDCH Task Forces and Services.
The Assembly, Steering and Executive Committees, and Task Forces are supporting by the EDCH Coordination Team.
